Here are some simple yet totally doable home décor tips for you.
1. Never paint small rooms dark
Light colored walls reflect color and brighten up the space.
The opposite happens when small compacted areas are painted in dark colors. You
can also use mirrors to enhance the lighting in your rooms. It will make small
spaces look enlarged.

2. Lighten it up
Lighting is
an important factor in home décor. Use sufficient lamps to lighten up the rooms
and don’t forget the corridors. But make sure not to waste energy – use only as
needed.

3. Picture above sofa
Many of us
like to hang a picture above the sofa but did you know that there is a suitable
ratio for its size? The best size is defined as half the visible area of your
sofa. If the picture is to big, it will overpower the living room and if it’s
too small, it will not be visible.

4. Minimalist concept
Clutter can
easily steal away the appreciation a beautiful house deserves. Try to minimize
the furniture in the living room. It will make the cleaning less troublesome
too.

5. Choose colors wisely
When you’re
buying new furniture or choosing new curtains, think about the color too. You
can either go for a colorful outlook or a simple color theme as you wish. Just
make sure to avoid mismatching colors.
